The Matrix - Sentinel

Since the first Matrix film debut in 1999, there are many model of Matrix been produced. However, I’m not collecting models at that time. When I started collecting model in 2006, there is no new matrix model, unless I am willing to pay high price for old matrix models released out by other collectors.

But this year – 2009, Hot Toys suddenly produces this 1/16 Sentinel from Matrix and the price tag is very affordable. So, I quickly pre-ordered it and now I got it in my hand. Worth to mention that Hot Toys starts to produce many movies’ model in this year, e.g. Iron Man, Terminator Salvation, etc. All of these models are very life-like and worth to collect.

The Sentinel has 15 tentacles in total and each is bendable and has articulated attachments at the end.

Bruce Lee – Fist of Fury

This is the first 12” figure I bought and hooray it’s the legendary Kung Fu master Bruce Lee.

This 1/6 figure is from Enterbay and Enterbay is really very well-known in making realistic Bruce Lee. This figure is worldwide limited edition of 5000. However, Enterbay come out later with a upgraded version with same price. So, really damn! Well, say no more, just look at the picture…

This limited edition is a collectors edition, so it is come with luxury packaging and packaging is really huge. Hey, don’t fooled by the photo.

 

When open the box, 2 boxes lying inside. 1 is the 1/6 masterpiece and another is accessories.

 

This collection set gives an extra Head Sculpt and and an extra Hair Style from “Fist of Fury”. Other extra includes 1 tailor-made outfit and 5 designs of posing hands. Other accessories include figure stand FS-100, “Chinese Sick Man” (东亚病夫) kick board, and a nunchaku. Finally, there is a Certificate of Authentication card.

 

 

There is a deluxe diorama base made by premium wood as in above picture. Nice…

Gundam Model Kit Mid Year Challenge 2009

This event was organized at the beginning of June 2009 at Gurney Plaza, Penang. The competitors were not a lot, however I had opened my eyes while visited the event.

I completed this gunpla at the end of March 2009. This gunpla is very good in its design. Its poseablitiy and transformablity is perfect. I think any gunpla addicts will stick to this gunpla the whole day.



This completed work is my most satisfied work for now. I admit there is still some defects while completing this gunpla, but I am very satisfied with it. This gunpla kit come with core splendor and silhoutte flyer. This gunpla can be also posed in flyer mode which made it very playable.



This gunpla does not including any base. So, I use the separate action base so that my completed kit can be posed in beautiful pose.



The core splendor would be transformed and placed at the back to form the complete gundam. The design is really perfect. Do you notice it from the picture...

Ultimate Bumblebee

This is the most popular Ultimate Bumblebee made by Hasbro. By now, most toys are made in China. The only exception I can think of is gunpla. Although it is made in China, its high price tag promises its quality.

So, what's special with this figure. At first, you cannot pose it at anyway, it can only stand straight. But, with a push of button, it comes life, by animating its arms, head, and wings. It can fire a missile automatically too. Furhtermore, with a light-up eyes in blue colour, it can say 17 phrases and play 9 songs. Does this excited you...

It can transform into Camaro concept car too. But, it is very difficult to transform it. So, don't ask me to transform it and shoot a photo for you. If you like it, go buy one and try it. When in Camaro mode, it can light up its taillights, playing screeching brakes and crashing sounds too by using its motion and speed sensing technology. Does this sound advanced...

Yoko is a main character in Japanese mecha anime "Gurren Lagann", known in Japan as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (天元突破グレンラガン, Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan, literally "Heaven-Piercing Gurren Lagann").

This fraulein comes with a large rifle and two faces to exchange. This fraulein shows the cute and sunny side of Yoko. However, I like the mature and sexy side (Haha). Anyone can find me one...
