Kanu Unchou...My Goddess!!!

This is my first PVC figure. It is Kanu Unchou from anime "Ikki Tousen". "Ikki Tousen" is a kuso anime to China "3 Kingdoms" many main characters and it is really worthless to watch it. However, all its main characters, which are fraulein is very pretty. I like Kanu Unchou especially because her long and beautiful hairs.

This figure is 1/6 scale and made by Griffon Enterprises. It come with a very beautiful sword too. The sculpture is very beautiful. Nevertheless, Kanu Unchou resembles "Guan Yu" - The China famous warrior in "3 Kingdoms"; which I don't like as this is a "Kuso" to the famous warrior...

Fraulein! EVA!

Fraulein is a revolutionary product series from Revoltech. Its action figures have a revolutionary ball joint and this ball joint is hidden well. I bought my first fraulein, which is main character in Eva - Ayanami Rei. Ayanami Rei is the first figure in fraulein series too. Later, I bought another main character in Eva - Soryu Asuka Langley

This 2 frauleins is well sculptured and can be posed in some ways too. They are really a best buy.

MG F91 - Max Version

After a lengthy 1 year, I finally completed my second painted gunpla at May 2008. This time, I tried Max effect. I post photos at a gundam forum; and got commends that the shadow is too dark. Hmmm, may be. However, I am satisfy with it. Of course, there is still many places that I need to improve. At last, some guys want to buy this gunpla, and I had sold to it. Earn some pennies from it...not much.

My First Painted Gunpla

MG RX-78-2 Version Ka is my first painted gunpla using airbrush at May 2007. I painted the custom colour by following a sample in Denggeki Hobby magazine. Everything look nice until the final steps. I tried to make a special effect by washed it with a sand colour. However, I didn't know I should use enamel colour with Zippo oil but I use Mr. Hobby colour with too much thinner instead. This make some original paint peeled and even the hand parts broken. :( And then, I tried to cover the defects by making some weathering effect; but make it uglier instead

If I did not apply the final effect, everything look fine to me. This final step really put all my hard works in ruin. Anyway, I had learned, learned something...

GFF - Z II

Completing gunpla is a time consuming process. For me who haven't much free time, I try to seek some gundam models which are pre-completed and still poseable. For this reason, Gundam Fix Figuration came into my eyes.

I decided to buy GFF - Zeta II as this gundam can transform into jet fighter and this gundam is a special unit which does not exists in any animes, novels nor comics.

This GFF is designed by Katoki Hajime. Overall, this GFF is fine in its sculpture, especially in its 1/144 scale. Every parts is sculptured detailly. However, it is not poseable enough, and some parts are simply too loose. So, it is hard to pose it in any way you like it. If compare with MG Gunpla, I prefer MG as MG is more poseable and playable. Futhermore, you can gain a lot of pleasure and fullfilment when completed a MG. This is what call a hobby like... The only constraint is enough time :(

PERFECT GRADE!!!

My second gunpla after MG Freedom Gundam is the top product line from Bandai - The Perfect Grade Strike Gundam. I must be crazy to buy this gunpla as my wallet was breeding after this. However, I like this gunpla as it is really good in quality, it is very poseable; you can pose it in whatever ways you like. However, it does not come with backpack; and only some weapons are given; including the Grand Slam.

I completed this gunpla at Oct 2006. For this gunpla, I had applied panelling and colouring in some parts using gundam markers. Weathering pastels were used to apply some effects too. I also tried to "dry wash". Anyway, I made the brush too wet and became "wet wash". What's a shame... Haha, I still poor in my modelling skills. Finally, I had decided to buy airbrush... will make another hole in my wallet.

Anyway, it's concluded that this is a must buy kit for anyone who like gunpla.

My First Gunpla

Yes, this is my first gunpla from Bandai. I decided to buy this master grade Freedom Gundam after I watched the popular anime - Gundam Seed.

I completed this gunpla at June 2006. I only applied basic assembly, panelling, and sprayed topcoat. Haha, after I revisit my first completed gunpla, I discover there is many, many... places that I need to improve. Basic skills are important in gundam modelling, I will practice more with my next gunpla. However, I had improved with my next gunpla.

Let's look for my next gunpla...So, what's my next gunpla?
